Toronto, ON – Toronto Decentralized Autonomous Organization (TorontoDAO) hosted a stimulating town hall discussion on Thursday, September 28, at Casa Mezcal Restaurant in Toronto, as part of #ElevateTorontoTechWeek. The event, attended by close to a hundred individuals, delved into the topic “AI: Employment Threat or Opportunity?” and featured prominent figures from the tech arena.

The panel boasted a stellar line-up of speakers, including Amir Feizpour, Founder & CEO of Aggregate Intellect, Alex Pshul, Chief Software Architect at Impro.AI, and Junaid Siddiqui, an Independent Researcher in Machine Learning. Mohd Shahnawaz, Co-Founder of TorontoDAO, moderated the vibrant discussion, bringing out various perspectives on the implications of AI on employment.

TorontoDAO is at the forefront of exploring innovative economic and governance models rooted in local community values. This initiative aims to create a thriving Toronto where community collaboration drives positive change. The Townhall event furthered this mission by fostering a meaningful dialogue on the intersection of AI technology and employment prospects.
